Indian culture :

Before coming to India, through friends and media , I knew that India is a cultural state that holds religious values. But I only came to know about its culture magnificence, when I landed on the abode. Beholding memories! I still have some beautiful moments in my memorabilia that are truly a treasure. Beholding a splendorous past, the very land has a history that dates back to 5000 years. In fact through out my stay in India, I had many experiences of its rich culture, glorious past, the turbulences and triumphs. As I traveled through the nation, I got acquainted about the landmarks of each era, the achievements of each age, the legacy of each regime. By the end of the journey, I had my own interpretation about the land. So had Arthur, a business man from US, who explored Himachal Pradesh and written some good words about the culture of Himachal Pradesh. Dance with the Music!! Significantly, dance and music holds an important place in Indian household. Music forms an integral part of Indian people and Indians cannot celebrate any fest without it. I noticed a vast profusion of folk music that varies according to locality. Though folk songs also follow the same base, classical music requires immense training & practice. In colors!!! In fact , India is also rich in art and craft that has existed from many years. Painting as an art form has flourished in India from very early periods as is evident from literary sources and also from the remnants that have been discovered. Through sources, I got acquainted that Indian paintings can be broadly classified as the murals & miniatures. Murals are huge works executed on the walls of solid structures.
